Where are you located?
Carlsbad, California – about a 30 minute drive north of San Diego or 90 minutes south of Los Angeles. I have worked with clients from Canada and all over the United States.
How can I contact you and what are your rates?
Please call me at 301-502-9228 (8am – 6 pm PST Monday to Saturday) or email me at Siene@SieneSilva.com and my rates depend on the scope of the program we develop for you.
What are your qualifications?
Please see the tab "Siene's Qualifications" on this site. I have also done many interesting things that are not fully described in my qualifications. I was a semi-finalist on the television show American Gladiators where I was up against some of the toughest women in America all trying to win the $100,000 prize. I came in second.
I was also selected to be the personal trainer for a member of one of America 's most popular bands of all time. Ask me who!
My proudest achievements have been helping regular people achieve good health. For example, my client Ed in Washington, DC lost 180 pounds. You will see Bill 's story on this site. He just finished his first half-marathon after losing almost 100 pounds. There are many success stories I would love to share with you.
What services do you offer?
I am a personal trainer who recognizes that every individual has different needs so generally I work one-on-one with clients. I also offer group programs for people with similar concerns. For example, one clinic I offer is for men and women, 55 years of age and older, who need to lose a significant amount of weight. One topic during the clinic is about nutritional choices and health issues such as diabetes, obesity, cancer and digestive orders.
What other subjects do you teach in your personal sessions or clinics?
Some of these include:
Making the concept of nutrition clear.
Eating to lose weight.
Creating a plan for increasing physical activity and building a distinct exercise regime.
Strengthening the immune system to protect from illness and disease.
Brain function and nutrition.
Understanding the science behind fiber, vitamins, minerals, calories, carbohydrates, fats, protein and digestion.
How do you personalize your programs?
I start with an assessment and determination of the reality of a person 's goals whether it be weight loss, reduction of waist size, muscle development, core conditioning, improved mobility or simply to regain health and energy.
Then I create a program to meet that client's needs.
Do you expect me to look like you when I am finished?
Certainly not, unless you have a similar background. I have been active in organized fitness activities since I was a small child, throughout my school years, after graduating college and through to the present. I have been in eight marathons, more half-marathons than I can count, several triathlons and many more sports activities. I have a burning passion for fitness and good health for myself and others. I would just like you to be pleased with yourself when you see yourself in a mirror.
How would you describe yourself as a trainer?
I am very realistic as to one 's abilities. My clients often describe me as patient, sensible, very knowledgeable and a good motivator. My style is not to yell and scream until you drop, however I will make you work as hard as you are capable of working. Clients come to me because they want to change their existing lifestyle, improve their fitness and have more energy and self-esteem than ever before. I can help make you achieve these goals too!
Please contact me to discuss your goals.
